Coach Roles at Breakers

Team Roles

Breakers has a team of coaches who each work with specific groups and take on different responsibilities. Understanding how the coaching staff is organized helps families know who to contact for what.

Head Coach: Sets the overall training philosophy and season plan, runs Elite and Senior Prep groups, and makes decisions about group placement. For questions about training direction, competition selection, or group moves, speak with the Head Coach.

Group Coaches: Each practice group has a dedicated coach (or coaches) responsible for designing and running that group's daily practices. For day-to-day questions about your swimmer's training, reach out to their group coach first.

Assistant Coaches: Some sessions, especially larger groups like Slate, Sky, and Navy, are staffed with assistant coaches. They work directly in the water and on the deck during practice.

Admin Coordinator: Not a water-side coach, but handles registrations, meet entries, and communication. If you have questions about GoMotion, dues, or meet logistics, this is your contact.

Coaches prefer to communicate via the team's official channels (email or GoMotion messaging) rather than text or social media. This keeps communication organized and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
